Research

The SKEP network exists to facilitate improvements in science into policy processes to support the needs of evidence based regulation.

Between 2005-2009, the FP6-funded SKEP ERA-Net brought together the key funders of national research programmes to generate science in collaboration, and to improve links with policy-makers and those engaged in environmental regulation.

Since July 2009, the SKEP network has operated as a self-sustained, subscription based network, building on the good work of the ERA-Net, to provide a lasting structure for research coordination and co-operation between member organisations.
