Full members benefit from:
• Exchange of internal information concerning strategic evidence priorities, and best practice in science into policy processes 
• The opportunity to share costs and avoid duplication, through participation in jointly funded work to address evidence gaps 
• The opportunity to take part in staff exchanges, helping to spread best practice in environmental regulation and identify new approaches
• A seat on the SKEP Network Steering Committee and on the Call Steering Committee of any research calls which they participate in
• The opportunity to take part in forum discussions on the SKEP Network website in order to share knowledge and expertise
• Central coordination and secretariat support

Observer membership
Any technical expert, or organisation, can apply to the Network Secretariat to become a SKEP Network Observer.
