Objectives

1. Joint call management

• Facilitate jointly funded research calls between partners, supporting the needs of evidence-based better regulation
• Identify organisations, funds and outline topics for future calls and collaborations

2. Network development

• Develop the network and create linkages to other key European and international groups, in order to maximise the impact of our work
• Influence the research agenda of national, European and international programmes
• Identify funding opportunities for the network

3. Network communications

• Further integrate the European Research Area to facilitate ongoing improvements in science into policy processes
• Communicate outputs of SKEP and national research programmes to policy development teams
• Develop internal network communications

4. Information and staff exchange

• Develop the systematic exchange of information and good practice in research management
• Improve the integration of knowledge
• Develop tool(s) to evaluate research activities in Europe and around the world, and to identify research needs and gaps
